Series description: “Spreading the good news”, “evangelism”, “commending Christ” – whatever we choose to call it – is as an essential part of what it means to be a Christian. But how do we do go about it? What does the Bible say about the ways in which we can each get involved in commending Christ in our community and the world? This coming term we’ll be exploring these questions in a new sermon series, “Commending Christ: the biblical art of sharing your faith”. We’ll see that commending Christ involves more than just speaking; it involves a variety of activities that draw upon the gifts, opportunities, and resources which God has given us.
