Jaime Dickson

Rev Jaime Dickson

Senior Minister

Jaime grew up in Sydney’s north. Before entering ministry, he worked as a high school teacher and head of department in Sydney and the United Kingdom. Jaime reading, riding his bike, and making & drinking coffee. He is married to Katrina, and together they have three young adult children.

Jaime commenced at St Philip’s in 2019. Before that, he served as Senior Minister at Seaforth Anglican Church. Jaime has overall responsibility for leading the church and the paid ministry team in its mission to commend Christ in our community and the world.

Rev Brian Snell

Senior Assistant Minister – Young Adults & 5pm church

Brian grew up in Perth and moved to Sydney in 2011. Since 2015, he has ministered in churches on Sydney’s north shore. He is married to Kate and together they are busy raising two pre-school aged girls. Brian loves adventure sports, tinkering with classic cars, watching AFL, and reading books.

Brian joined the St Philip’s ministry team in 2020. He is the Pastor of our 5pm congregation and has particular pastoral responsibility for our post school-aged young adults. He also exercises ministry across the life of the church, regularly preaching and leading services, as well as overseeing our small group ministries.

Nick Lowe

Kids & Youth Pastor

Nick grew up in Sydney’s north and previously attended Beecroft Presbyterian Church. He has a Bachelor of Music (Performance) from Sydney Conservatorium of Music and is currently undertaking a Master of Divinity through Ridley College Melbourne. Nick is married to Julia, and in his spare time he loves to play and teach music.

Nick joined the ministry team in 2022, and is responsible for overseeing and leading ministries to children and young people in their school-aged years (K-12). Nick is passionate about teaching children and young people about Jesus and helping them navigate their way through all of life.

Sue Bali – Women’s Pastor

Sue comes to us having recently completed a Graduate Diploma of Divinity through SMBC. Having been involved in voluntary ministry over many years in several local churches, Sue brings a wealth of life and ministry experience to her role at St Phil’s.

Sue is married to Andre and together they have two young adult children. She enjoys teaching Scripture in her local schools and has a passion for supporting the faithful as they walk daily with Jesus’ and strive to increase their trust in him. Sue joined the ministry team in January 2023, and is responsible for ministering among the women of St Phil's.

Alicia Chilton

Ministry Co-ordinator

Alicia has been a church member here at St Philip’s since 2011, and took up the role of Ministry Assistant in 2013. Her role is to coordinate the administrative operations of church life as well as providing personal assistance to our Senior Minister. Alicia is married to Dave and together they have two young children.

Rev Glenn Gardner, AM

Honorary Assistant Minister

Glenn was ordained in 1969 and was a Senior Minister in two Sydney parishes in the 1970s and 1980s. He has also worked in executive roles in the disability sector, and was the founding Executive Director of the Archbishop of Sydney’s New Churches for New Communities initiative. He is married to Jenny, and together they have been church members at St Philip’s since 2007.

Glenn assists our Senior Minister in the pastoral care of our 8am congregation. He leads a midweek small group, leads services and preaches at 8am church, and conducts occasional pastoral visiting. Glenn also exercises a chaplaincy role among our ministry staff.
